However, you need to be open to receive what is said in this book.  Get Your Head Out of the Clouds, This is Business is very straightforward - no sugar coating on this one. It's a great resource for any business person or aspiring business person's library!

Entrepreneurship 101: Helping Others Help Themselves

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart! Along with the positive moments, the flexibility, and the freedom it brings, you also have the downside of dealing with difficult clients, the ups and downs of cash flow, and the daily grind. You think working a 9 to 5 is hard? Try 24 hours a day, six, sometimes seven days a week, especially when you're in the first five years of business.

If you're contemplating entrepreneurship, you have to make sure you keep your priorities straight. Just like with your family, if you're a Christian, God should be at the helm of every meeting, every project, every decision, every step you take day by day because it is because of Him that you have the talents you have and since the earth and all within it belongs to Him, you best believe, He is in control of whether your business will succeed or fail.  He brings the provision and your job is to honor Him in every aspect of your living, including your business.

What is your purpose for being an entrepreneur? Is it for the money? Is it for the freedom? What is YOUR motivation for wanting to be an entrepreneur?  Our main directive has and always will be to help others help themselves. We share the pitfalls we've experienced over the years and we try to help others prevent the same mistakes or fall into some of the traps we fell into, and we try to educate the people we have been blessed to influence. We're far from perfect, we're human, and we are prone to still make mistakes. However, It's what you do after making mistakes that counts. That is integrity. We believe the Lord gave us this business and the funds to sustain our household. We know who we answer to first and foremost and that is how we try to conduct ourselves within our business. 

 Anywho, I thought I'd mix up my writing a bit this week. Still reading Kingdom Woman daily! Can't wait for the upcoming bible study in September. Get your book and get ready to discuss!
