Self-Care Day 3: Health & Gratitude


Today, I’m still prioritizing my health and gratitude. I took a 15-minute walk to thank God for His provision. So far, I’ve walked nearly 8,000 steps—my goal is 10,000. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the gift of life and the unspeakable joy I feel today, especially as I walk with my beautiful granddaughter. She entered this world fighting to breathe on her own, and now she’s thriving! 

This morning, I started my day with fruit and peanut butter, and I’ve adjusted my Daniel Fast slightly—fasting for a few hours during the day with a small, balanced meal in the evening that includes a bit of meat.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

As Zig Ziglar once said, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” Let’s keep moving forward with faith, gratitude, and purpose!
