Not Guilty Verdict in Trayvon Martin case...

Sadly, George Zimmerman was found not guilty in the death of Trayvon Martin. Many of us in the minority community can't understand why, with all of the evidence, that this man won't do a day in jail for the crime he committed against the unarmed youth in Florida.  Trayvon could've been any of our sons, brothers, cousins, friends... It's a sad and harsh reality that we may not have come as far as we thought in the civil rights movement...

Biblically speaking, I felt the need to remember that the Lord gives us permission to get angry, but He does not want us to sin based on our anger. Ephesians 4:26. I'm sure most of America was surprised to find that, although quite angry at the verdict, there were no riots or acts of violence, but peaceful demonstrations and voicing of outrage when the verdict came down... I pray for peace and #justicefortrayvon.
